Anyway the short answer to Debra's problem child's behavior is the nature of genetics, being the child of a single mother, and probably an intellectual or emotional deficit between him and Debra, etc.
Traits like violent behavior, addiction, etc. are all genetically inherited... the kid never even has to meet their parent for those traits to show.
But the hardships Debra has had with him, emotional, intellectual, etc. are all due to the karmic nature of Debra's actions. She got with his father for the wrong reasons, so she had a lesson to learn. And her son incarnated into this reality into such an experience because his essence at a soul level desired to have this experience. Just like Debra's soul signed on the dotted line when she incarnated into this earth plane and began her experiences.
This is very true.
