i'm somewhat tempted to have it done with both ancestry.com and 23andme to see if they report the exact same thing. if they don't match up 100%, that's a class action lawsuit against both of them and some interesting things may come up in discovery.
we're all already in the database btw. they've been storing a sample of blood from newborns since the 70s. i'm pretty sure they store even more blood when you have tests done. i've had a major surgery [appendectomy] so who knows what they could have done to me when i was out.
we leave bits of our dna everywhere. cells continuously slough off, spittle spattles, hairs with intact follicles fall out. i remember a movie about that with a guy pretending to be someone else, forget the name though. the one thing that stuck out in that movie was the guy realized he was faking and told him righties don't hold `it` with the left hand. i was like wtf, i'm a righty and i do when i pee.
