Regarding Zane, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again...
If he doesn’t even have ID, if he can’t even have a bank account... well he isn’t going to be able to fulfill his destiny of internet/YouTube fame and it’s just that damn simple.
He has to do what he must to become a free man... whether he’s got a year of jail time hanging over his head or not, it ain’t gonna go away until he faces it, so he just needs to be a man, do the time, then get out and get serious about his life. Get his license, get bank accounts, and really get to work in a serious way on the YouTube/internet thing.
Re: the kids and wife, I hate to say it and it sounds cold, but he should really just forget them. He’s in no position to legally win them at this point and it’ll take him a good year or more to get to a point where he is.
He’s gotta clean up, turn himself in, do his time, get out and start operating within the system to fulfill his promised destiny of fame in the internet’s new entertainment paradigm.
It’s true, he’s now on the cusp... he’s now at a point where he will make the right decision, or the incredibly wrong decision.
If he makes the wrong decision and chooses to hold back his soul progress and advancement by acting out in low level ego driven ways over some kind of antagonized BS regarding his family, then he will have to suffer negative karma that could last for lifetimes...
Let’s hope he’s ready to do the right thing, I have been under the impression for sometime now that he just wasn’t that stupid.
Do the right thing Zane! Get legal, get serious, get all your ducks in a row so you can do real business in the real world as a PROFESSIONAL entertainer.
It would be for the greater good... one day he’d be popular enough and wealthy enough to win the kids back the right way. Anything else is just being stupid, and I don’t take him for a fool.

And as for Mack (the dog)... he does not want to be in this situation anymore. A woman already tried to 'rescue' him (Zane had him tied up outside while he went in a store) but the attempt was thwarted. Mack is attracting situations to himself which could provide him freedom from this life of constant roaming and discomfort and lack of water. But if Zane keeps trying to stand in the way, more drastic things will happen and ultimately the dog will either escape or he'll die.
Of course, Zane looks in bad shape... and yeah, that is sad. But Mack is an animal and like I said, I feel more for animals than I do for people. It's like one of the commenters on his video said, 'Zane has a choice... Mack doesn't.' Zane can change things and get a job somewhere or just go 'home' or whatever. And I get that he's trying to do that... but I think it's proving to be too much for this dog and hopefully Zane is smart enough and intuitive enough to know where to draw the line.
