The body will get resentful if you hold onto the hair too long when it becomes a burden on the system. It's a subject I've done a lot of research on and have gained personal experience with over the years, pretty fascinating.

Well... I think a lot of Zane's issue, even dating back to when he initially ran away to the Slabs, lost the vehicle, etc. stems from this deep seated belief that he CAN'T come back. Maybe it's true, meh I dunno. But when he was in Texas he said he "could have" gotten a house or an apartment or something... any sensible person would have. Of course that's what he should have done if he could have. But I think it's important to point out it's not too late... if he can do it, he should be doing it. He'll be entertaining no matter where he is or what he's doing... if he gets enough income to secure a residency he should do it.
And the Slabs isn't a "residence" LMFAOOO. Slab City is just giving up on life. Period. It's just saying "Okay, I accept being a malcontent, lower echelon person with a mediocre to lowest quality life." Like no. No. Just no.
