Documentary: Without Bound - Perspectives on Mobile Living

I agree about stealth, it’s the only way to go. Anything else is just cumbersome. When you’re over the idea of kitchens and bathrooms and living rooms etc., that type of setup doesn’t appeal to you. You gotta get camping chairs and sit outside, go walking and exploring, etc. The idea isn’t to be inside, unless the weather is bad. If it’s raining for days, you can’t pick up your house and leave... but you can drive away!!!

Re: temperatures, Bob’s philosophy (which makes a lot of sense) is essentially to move up or down in elevation depending on the temperature. He said in one of his videos lastnight that when temperatures get too hot or cold, we’re supposed to move rather than try to fight nature and stay there anyway. Amazing. It’s all such common sense.

Re: safety, I’ve never had a single problem anywhere in the nation besides in the east. Anything east of Texas is increasingly unfriendly, and best avoided. People are pretty damn nice out west. You can be armed with a variety of items in and out of the vehicle too. Just go by each state’s personal laws and there’s no problem.
