Documentary: Without Bound - Perspectives on Mobile Living
#27
Traveling solo is the only way for me personally, I don’t want to have to deal with somebody else. I think every person needs to have their own mobile living space. We all have our own bodies... it only stands to reason that we have somewhere to put them which isn’t occupied by anyone else. People don’t learn how to effectively be alone and happy in today’s society and it’s damaging. Everyone needs their own space and plenty of time alone in it, whenever they want. Know thyself, know the world.

And Bob thinks community and connecting with other mobile dwellers is important. I’m sure it is great. I have different ideas about socializing with this kind of lifestyle though. My desires are a little different than some people’s and that’s why I don’t want to be 30 miles down a dirt road for two weeks at a time. I think there’s a campground out there that is gonna suit everybody though. There are some a mile off the road, fairly near large towns. The nearer to a big town you are though, the higher chances of riff-raff will be. Just common sense, there’s a happy medium... and usually nothing serious ever goes wrong.
