Yeah im quite similar I hate air travel its like why can I not go by boat? And the reason is because all the old people get cabins on cargo ships for adventure. You have to book like 2 years in advance to travel by sea these days unless its a cruise which is stupid. I only went on a cruise once it was fucking stupid just drunk people and sex orgies like you can have that where you live don't need to pay 5k to get it.
Imagine back in the days you could just ride a horse and go wherever you want? Have to stop to camp take supplies resupply. That is how I would like to live but its not practical in this age.
I wonder if you could do this though just transverse different continents via horse back and take your time you will actually feel and experience every aspect.
And im not talking about a weekend trail ride im talking living on horseback. It would be so insane.
