7:18 much more uncomplicated times than today... the area is so massively populated now there'd be no chance of a graceful ascent up the mountain to avoid that water.
8:06 it's interesting... why doesn't Sage live in the house with his family? Has he taken the idea of a 'man cave' to the extreme and just decided to live in a van instead? How annoying must his family be? Is he really married? Does his relationship with his wife suck so bad he just said hey you know what, you live in here with the family and I'll live in the van.
