Rich remains a good ole boy who we probably still feel a measure of sympathy for but he's lost a bit of his patina. Again, he reminds me of a fast-talking, super-sharp neighbor of mine who always attempts to divert any hint of suspicion or blame away from himself & dump it on someone else's doorstep. And he's usually successful too, that is with people who are unaware of his background. But those of us who have lived next to him for twenty years, we know he's not the innocent victim he makes himself out to be.
