For one thing, that's a sonar, not a radar. The device he connected to the Arduino is an ultrasonic transmitter and receiver pair.
It's not really a "how to" video, since there was no narration, no schematics or Fritzing drawing, etc. Just another video with spaz background music of a spaz assembling a project and expecting n00bs to understand what he's doing.
