Rich has kinda sorta reached that 'point'...
Let's take relationships as an example.
Once you get to a point in a relationship when you "need time apart", the relationship is doomed.
You can take some time apart, you can get together again later... but your 'tolerance' for that relationship is going to lessen gradually until you just can't stand to be in it anymore, for any amount of time.
Say you've been together 5 years, then you take a few weeks away from each other, then you come back. Pretty soon you're to the point of being totally annoyed by the relationship and needing a break again within just a few months. Eventually, it becomes unbearable to be in the relationship for any amount of time.
The solution is to (obviously) take a break... but in the long run, to make his channel about more than tarot.
He made it in the door with tarot... that's what got him to where he is. Now that he's in the door... he should find a way of sharing which makes fewer demands on him.
If only he didn't have the pretentious attitude that "common folk" just "can't understand" these spiritual airy-fairy terminologies and concepts...
