He had already lost a huge amount of audience by losing the previous channel anyway... so that was already 80% of the audience culled.
Then 80% of the people who did manage to find his new channel dropped off after December too.
Zane likes to blame his sobriety for the lack of follow overs, but the truth is the only reason he's lost viewers is because he keeps losing and changing his channels...
So it's interesting psychologically that he blames sobriety because that just goes to show he resents not being able to drink and do drugs.
Not that he thinks it's good for him, he knows it isn't... but subconsciously there's bitterness and resentment there, on a level which doesn't involve reasoning and logic. It's pure emotion and programmed monkey brain.
