Supernatural - Season 4, Episode 15 - "Death Takes A Holiday"
So it's here that I realize that Genevieve Cortese (Padalecki) is the co-star Jared (Sam) ultimately married from the show. She plays the demon Ruby who keeps helping Sam. So basically, Jared married his love interest from the show. A contracted marriage. I will therefore preemptively assume that Jensen's wife Danneel (the fuck kinda name is that) Harris is eventually his love interest on the show. They're also in what I assume is a contracted marriage. Both Jensen and Jared have had several children within their contracted marriages. I guess people have been marriage contracted for less in the past... I mean Supernatural has been a 15 year endeavor, so I guess it's understandable that children were brought into the world over it.
I assume one or both of these contracted marriages will end up dissolving once the show is over... I would say the process will take 1.5 to 2.5 years though, since the breaking of the marriages would be suspicious if they took place too quickly upon the show's conclusion. I can guarantee that one or both of these guys can't fucking wait to get out of them either.
I feel sorry for these hollywood/old guard paradigm puppets... having to marry people they don't love, having no true identity, constantly toeing the line. Thank God for the internet... now we don't make retarded deals for fame anymore. Now everybody has it.
1:30 ummm, creepy.
You know what I like about this show though... it doesn't seem to have an actual opening theme. I love that because I hate intros... for example when people on YouTube attach an intro to their videos, I find it to be such a tasteless, pointless waste of time.
3:26 mention of URL, flooredbythelord.com... a WHOIS reveals that the domain was registered in 2011 though this episode is from 2009. It's almost certain that in the beginning WarnerBros owned that domain at least for a year, maybe 2. Unlike the other domains, they don't seem to have kept up with it too well. It's certain that it was a datamining experiment when the show aired, but unlike the other domains it doesn't appear they care too much about that experiment now... it simply appears to be parked, and maybe not even by them.
5:25 REAPERS ON STRIKE!!!!!!!!!!
8:58 hell yeah baby, work it fuckin' work it Sam!!!!!!!!! Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot!!!!!!!!!!
9:58 Dean needs to stop being so hard on Sam for using his bitchin' powers... it's gettin' old.
12:31 Judge Judy reference/placement.
15:48 could you imagine being a grieving mother, or person in general, and some asshole you unfortunately "live" with makes you feel like shit for speaking out loud to your dead loved one, or just wanting to feel their presence? I fucking despise people. I mean I know this is a fictional show, but you just know people really do that shit... humans are so fucking irredeemable.
16:34 another Haley Joel reference.
21:54 the fuck, Sam's taken up lying?!
24:55 Karate Kid/Mr. Miyagi reference/placement. Since "Karate Kid" was never stated, I suppose from a datamining standpoint there's a 'thinning of the herd' that takes place with a move like this... they're either targeting people who already know where Mr. Miyagi is from, or targeting people who will be curious and Google it. I wonder what kind of information this tells them and how it's useful.
30:16 this guy's weirdass voice is perfect for this badguy role, but I imagine it's like the most unfortunate thing ever for real life.
32:56 fuuuuuuck yeah, Sam is the shit!
34:11 OMG IT'S CASTIEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
