Man this whole thing about not being able to cross the border must have been a huge monkey wrench in their entire romance.
I'm sure it was quite the 'full scale come apart' as Zane would say.
I never figured they would make it to Alaska... so far they haven't.
These are the times that try men's souls, aren't they??
If their relationship can survive this "little setback" then if they do make it to Alaska, my guess is it will get grittier than ever from there...
I wouldn't be surprised if Priss starts smoking satan's salad, or snorting the devil's dandruff, or even becomes an alcoholic and they eventually end up... home free together.
If they never make it to Alaska, I give their relationship a 30% chance of lasting.
If they never get to Alaska, then my guess would be Priss will just go home.
Zane will either end up in Alaska alone, or he'll end up back in Mexico.
Things are leaning more toward alternative means of getting to Alaska for him though.
