Well the main theory is that he made sure Lainey did all the super illegal shit, like trading nude pics with minors, talking dirty with them etc. Odds are Greg kept his hands as clean as possible re: the legalities of everything. Greg hasn't had to do his own grooming since 2012... that's a long time. She's been doing the illegal things for him since then, or at least since the point that he was successfully able to control/break her down far enough to do the work for him.
