Humans need to stop looking at things through the lens of permanence...

Nothing is permanent. Life ends, relationships end, cycles always come to a close, things always transition into some new stage.

Nothing is forever, and people expecting things to last is just harmful. It's so much better to go through life not considering whether things will last, not anticipating the end, not giving any thought to 'never seeing that person again' or 'never doing that thing again' or 'never going to that place again'.

It's all wasted energy and it causes undue worry/fear/anxiety. These types of futile concerns are a big cause of unhappiness and insecurity in people. Just let it go.
