I love this mid 70's jam.
It's got it all and if you listen near 2:15 you may recognize who sampled this song in the early 2000's

From what I remember, the Bee Gees probably had the most and biggest radio presence in the 70s.
just by memory:
Rumors album- Fleetwood Mac.
Elton John was huge.
Wings, Barry Manalo, ABBA, Steely Dan, KC and the Sunshine Band,
Oh, and Stairway to Heavy was ALWAYS the number one song on these stupid radio countdowns of most requested songs -for YEARS
Those are the ones I remember being saturated with.

I can't believe some of the 70's gold I've been finding that hasn't been posted here yet. The last three posts? I mean... to me, those three songs were the whole vibe of the 70's. I think it's because they came late in the decade, and so they had time to both reflect on and add to the vibe. In a lot of ways, Queen and The Cars helped to usher in the 80's.

This fucking song.
I mean it really is just one of the chillest, most pleasant songs ever made.
Sure, the lyrics are a lil weird, the whole premise is sorta WTF.
But musically and vocally... agh, my God. Heaven.
