It's the first time I've ever attempted to copy the ENTIRE archive to another external hard drive. I've had this master drive for about 10 years, with a lot of it backed up on random USBs and SD cards.
Figured it was time for a new external hard drive/master archive, so I started making the copy today.
The time estimator is down to about 18 hours, but it started out being like 2 days, LOL!
My personal internet archive (which contains all my photos, videos, etc. in existence, plus other shit I cared to save over the years) is about 1.6 TB. It's gotten substantially larger over the past few years as I've been taking more videos.
This is some of the reason why I prefer low quality video... it's just a lot easier to store, and I just don't appreciate anything with a huge file size.
