Slam Book

In junior high, or perhaps freshman year, there was a fad known as the slam book or jam book.

Take a big spiral-bound notebook and write a titillating question on the top line of each page, leaving the rest of the page blank.

Pass it around to your friends so they can write in their answers.

Now you have the premise of this thread. Ask a question, and answer the other posters' questions.

The questions that burned in the minds of 14 and 15 year olds of the day were things like, "Have you ever had sex on a waterbed?"

But to be honest...

I might have and just don't remember it!?

I love the idea of the "slam book"...

When I was a teenager, I wanted sooo badly to be able to do this.

I had a friend whose brother was in the military and she offered to start a notebook for us all, and mail it back and forth with him.

That never came about, but I loved her for considering it. She liked to write and whatnot.

I still love the idea and would love to start a club where we mail the book back and forth.

If I ever have a PO box again someday and some sort of group of people who would ACTUALLY be interested, I might start it up.
