Anybody got any crazy photo developing stories from back in the day?
Imagine it...
We used to have to get rolls of filmed developed by real people before we could even see the pics we took.
What a mind trip!
Wonder if there were many stalkers born of this film development job...
Wonder how common it was for people to take in lewd photos for development? Yikes!

Wouldn't want that job... just seems like a recipe for pure creepiness.

People used to take photos bearing in mind that a likely stranger WOULD have to develop them...
Think of how modesty has taken a nosedive since those days!

Wonder if anybody had crushes on their local film developers and took in pics for development just to show off to them?

Some photomats refused to develop nude photos back in the day.
There was a small one in the shopping center where I worked as late as the 1990s. We used to get photos onto our computers by scanning print photos.

Ah, so there were special photo development places which were fine with developing nudies, eh? Wow!!! Well I'm glad to hear that... it was definitely a necessary thing, I mean not all nudes that were captured on film were inherently supposed to be lewd and dirty. There is such a thing as tasteful nudity, artful nudity, etc. Not to suggest that most of the nudies developed in places like that were supposed to be respectable though, rofl.

I don't know about that. I suspect people who were into nude photography had their own darkrooms.
