S6 E19 - "Tall Trapper"
1:33 well, her old ass husband's fucked.
2:12 no woman can resist some outlaw dick.
2:22 that doesn't matter... he's good for reproducin'. Doesn't matter if he's dirt poor... he's got what she wants.
2:30 lmao listen to the way she says that, you can practically hear her ovaries aching with desire! She can't control herself and she knows it!
8:15 well that's fucked up. I didn't expect that.
17:00 I absolutely believe him.

0:40 that wild game looks delicious!
1:20 I ain't gonna bullshit you... this looks like the opening scene of a western style porno. Mkay.
2:44 FUCK this is hot.
4:22 you gotta be fucking KIDDDDINGGG MEEEEEE. Bahahahahaha, HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT THIS?!?!?! I DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS~!!~!!!!
4:50 I'm guessing she's the bad seed, lmfaofmafaoflafoalollolol.
5:01 [dishes clanging] lmfao, the marshal's had about enough of this shit!!!
12:17 FUHUHUHUHUHUHUUUUCK YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!! LONG BRANCH HERE I COME, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
17:00 it's understandable that she would, but I wouldn't be too quick to assume she'll get over it, lol.
20:25 roflmfao this is a delightful conversation to hear the Marshal have.

S6 E22 - "Kitty Shot"
Oh God. That title though. I remember one time I was Googling something about the show and one of the search suggestions was "Did Kitty ever get shot on Gunsmoke" lmao. I didn't click it and find out =\ Again like I always say, we know they all live, so there's never any reason to sweat it. I'm glad I didn't have to catch all the episodes during their original airings, all a week apart over the course of 20 fricken years, lmfao.
15:35 wow, he's a real fucking smartass, huh?
23:36 lol what in the hell!
23:50 lol that's what I figured it was.

21:56 too long, and she definitely could have done better.
22:18 lucky.
25:35 they really boggle my mind how they change up the opening and closing themes. The better closing theme is back on this episode.

S6 E24 - "Harriet"
0:40 that's the chick who played the pretty gypsy in that other episode.
1:16 and that's the actor who just played the cowboy in that other episode I watched tonight.
4:00 "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
6:30 lol, good ol' Doc and his powders.
8:18 why wouldn't she just tell him what the fuck happened??
9:09 Chester should wife her up... if she was a more honest woman.
9:50 well, looks like she knows how to get herself a start... I think I'd rather marry Chester though, lmao.
11:07 oh Kitty, I love it when you talk all soft.
11:38 faro looks lame, IMO.
13:30 this chick pisses me off. They literally KNOW THE GUYS. This could be settled in warp speed, but she's gotta do her stupid vendetta bullshit.
18:42 "Harriet, you're an ignorant slut."
19:30 if they don't address where that music's coming from pretty soon, I'ma lose my shit.

5:38 you know it makes me wonder, how do they explain things when Chester leaves the show?
7:50 Miss Kitty looks like some kinda wild west high priestess in that outfit!
8:20 how have they not put 2+2 together about this rowdy asshole with all the money?? Lmao.
9:00 I'm glad to see they had those stoutass coffee cups back in the old west days, those are my favorite!!!
9:36 damn, Doc's got some glorious eyebrows, this is a great view of them.
11:07 lmao they've got Botkin being fabulously dramatic in this episode, such a diva.
13:00 he almost instinctively closed the door.
17:00 rofl, those last words though.
25:30 when the episode ended, I thought "WTF?" for the first time at any of these episodes/endings. It seemed like there could have been more to the story but I guess not.

S6 E26 - "Old Faces"
1:42 uh oh, this sexy horny dirty cowboy looks like he's about to be trouble for the lady. The only question is, will she like it or not?! I'm thinking probably not, since her own dude is already pretty hot. The only reason she'd go for cowboy feller is if she secretly likes 'em rough 'n dirty!!! *popcorn*
2:32 ooo, damn, city boy can kick some ass. That's hot. Okay, we have a winner.
2:38 oh my, is Jim Buck the stagecoach hottie ever a sight for sore eyes, would you just look at him? After his brush with near death, he looks better than ever before! Meeeowww!!!
3:48 these bleach blondes look absolutely ridiculous on this show. They'd have been better off putting them in wigs.
7:02 this guy is crazy hot too even though he's playing kind of an asshole... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Keymas They cite his look as "rugged" on his Wiki page... he reminds me of Castillo (Edward James Olmos), one of my old crushes from Miami Vice. They both have the same kinda markings on their faces... https://imgur.com/a/DtJhveI Apparently it's pock mark scars caused by adolescent acne.
7:49 I guess we might have known she was a sex worker because of that ridiculous white blonde hair... https://www.encyclopedia.com/sports-and-...r-coloring
9:12 well I mean, he wasn't exactly being friendly but yeah.
9:27 they were sooooooo quick to get in 'duels' in those days, like what the eff.
10:55 "This is my whore wife, Marshal." Lol, but for real... I don't see why it's such a big deal even if she did work on a riverboat, like who cares. He couldn't tell before, so what's it to him??
12:18 "I know a ho when I see one, ma'am. Oh but don't you worry about it, I prefer my women a little bit seasoned. I don't think any less of you."
18:45 "I own this place." THAT BIG DICK ENERGYYY THOOUUUGHHHH.
19:15 Kitty's like oh okay... go get shot now, kthxbaiiii.
22:30 check out that GUNNNNNNSMOKE.
24:08 God I love Doc.
25:24 holdin' hands is so romantic.

1:08 I can uh, hear the uh, subtitle writer/transcriber's uh, thoughts.
3:14 I meeean... I liked him better as the blacksmith, but. I dunno, he's not AS pushy and unlikable as a character like this could be. He's pretty good looking too so... it's a tough one!
6:08 fella broke the chair! He's gonna need to pay for that too!
6:40 man if I was Kitty and I WASN'T beholden to the marshal, I'd definitely play with this guy til he got tired of it, but that's just me?!!!
7:40 that's a pretty good attitude.
8:38 sounds like his spurs have been jinglin' for the past few episodes.
13:05 well whoever did it would show it on their knuckles, duh.
15:30 whoever did it really did look somewhat like him but, I dunno, at the same time it obviously wasn't him.
16:28 he definitely does really think it was him though, I guess that's why he didn't say anything all along.
17:13 I mean it should be an easy solve though, who else in town is 6'6", lmao!?

4:30 well I guess Kitty's gonna have a kid to take care of.
4:48 we heard ya the first time, kid!
5:10 well Chester, I mean what the fuck would you suggest?? Take her to Ma Smalley's or something, it's not rocket science.
9:00 thank God for Ma Smalley's lmfao.
11:20 ROFLMFFFAAAAOOOO.
11:48 he definitely ain't wrong about that though... #prophetic
14:00 ROFLLLLLL. This kid is my spirit animal, 100%.
17:50 damn that's a pretty dress. Miss Kitty looks mighty good from behind!
18:18 we've never heard Matt say "Honey" before... *heart eyes*
20:00 roflmfao, this whole scene, roflmfaolololol!1!!!
Ah well, that episode was heartwarming AF.

1:00 pretty cool sunglasses though.
2:45 definitely some detectable early 1960s vibes in this music.
3:13 nice parasol, Kitty.
9:03 that'd be some glorious hair if it was real.
11:48 that's a cute little shack.
15:30 that's a damn nice cutting board right there.
17:20 don't worry, Marshal Dillon's out there and he's a REAL man... he'll save your husband!
24:15 "They turned him over to the women." Lmaololol man is that ever loaded with insinuation.
25:20 wait a minute... is that what it even looks like around that area of Kansas? Lmao, I'm pretty sure it's not. That's like... SoCal desert and shit. Later on in the show I think they filmed around Kanab, UT. Ain't gotten anywhere near those years yet though. It's just funny, it's the first time I've really thought about it.

Well, let's just put scenic accuracy aside. When I went traveling through that vicinity of Kansas, I remember A LOT of golden rolling plains. I don't recall anything that looked like much of the scenery on this show. Can't say for sure though.

1:06 the look on his face lmao.
3:34 uh oh, somebody's in love!
4:52 damn, I like the way those pants fit Chester!
10:51 "Good for you, Minnie!" Roflmfaololol.
11:50 we don't often hear him laugh on the show, but he's got a nice laugh, very cute. James Arness was always making people laugh on set, it's something he was known for.
11:58 oh wow, I think that's the first time we've ever seen what's behind that door.
13:18 "She's gonna be an expense, that's for sure..." roflmfaolfmafoalololllll.
16:34 that's Alan Hale, the Skipper from Gilligan's Island... I thought I recognized him, took me a minute to place him. He's listed as Alan Hale Jr., but I never knew there was an Alan Hale Sr. They probably didn't bother with that denotation on the credits of Gilligan's Island, which was a show I did enjoy very much as a kid. They even cancelled Gilligan's Island so that Gunsmoke could stay on the air. We have this hottie to thank for that decision... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babe_Paley Babe indeed... https://imgur.com/a/TknNqaI Hot chicks prefer Gunsmoke ;)
25:00 roflmfaololololol.

I was thinking about how the episodes will be going to ~50 minutes soon and I started getting kind of worried that something will change about the show when that happens and I may not like it, but then I remembered I started this thread off by watching some of those longer episodes and they were great, lol!

Dude I went looking for some info about Chester (the character) and I started reading through this Fandom Wiki...
https://gunsmoke.fandom.com/wiki/Chester_Goode
It's so loaded with errors about certain episodes' air dates and even their titles that I forgot WTF I was even searching for and left the site appalled.
I don't understand why it's so hard for people to get shit right about Gunsmoke.

NOOOOO website that calls itself "Fandom" and "Wiki" should be that full of gruelling errors while pretending to know so much at the same time. It's effing heinous.
Saw somewhere that Dennis Weaver died on the same day and at the same age as Don Knotts (deputy Barney Fife on Andy Griffith).
Bad day for lawman sidekicks.
And yeah Pluto TV has mismatched at least a third of the titles of the episodes I've seen...Don't know if they also do this with other series or if there's just a Gunsmoke inaccuracy conspiracy going on

This is one quote from the Wiki that exemplifies what I'm talking about...
Quote:The amiable Waco expatriate was usually described as Dillon's "assistant", but in the December 13, 1952, episode "Post Martin", Dillon described Chester as Dillon's deputy. Contradicting this description, in the July 5, 1954, episode "Hank Prine" (episode 116, minute 3:02)
Hack Prine (NOT "Hank") for example... Air date: May 12, 1956.
It's like they're mixing up the TV show version with the radio show version.
The radio show and the TV show were two different things. The TV version had a lot of episodes the radio show didn't have. It's not acceptable to consider the two as even being in the same universe.
The TV show was way more expansive than the radio show, there were different actors on the TV show vs. the radio show. There were many scripts taken from the radio show and turned into TV episodes, but that doesn't mean we can just go ahead and consider the radio show and the TV show one and the same. That is absolute bullshit.
