Bjork is such a dumbass...

When an artist has never appeared on my radar, aside from having merely heard of them, there’s usually a good reason for it.

Maybe some don't know because a generational gap.

Around '93 She first came into mainstream on the radios
and on MTV (barf) around the U.S. with her hit single "Human Behaviour.'

If you ever get close to a human and human behavior
be ready to get confused; there's definitely no logic, and oh-
and there is NO map!

The last album I listened to of hers was when she started doing most of the music with
synths; and had a strange but enjoyable electronica feel to it. Homogenic.

Sort of a chill out vibe; something to 'trip' by.

And the last time I was 'entertained' by Bjork was her infamous Airport outburst which lead
to her beating the brakes off of a reporter. Definitely not 'stable.'

"Human Behavior" was one of her more decent songs because it had a right on meaning and it SOUNDED LIKE A SONG.

I'm sorry, but music is never gonna change enough to make her new music pleasant to listen to.

Aliens wouldn't like it.

If she just wants to make visual art, fine...

That's fine. Then tone the "music" way the fuck down. Stop having it assault the listener like seizure inducing imagery in video games and shit, but the audio version.

Someone posted this somewhere the other day and I was like WHOA. She's stolen the look and even the first video of Bjork's style. She has an average
voice imo. It's nice, well trained, but sounds like every other wannabe in the cookie cutter 'artist' industry.

Not sure why the trend of women singing in that raspy, cigarettes voice is so trendy.

I have a theory that everything coming out sucks so bad you're forced to go back to the good
stuff, like cinema from the 40s, 50s. Even my favorite music seems mostly nostalgia based and
doesn't have a 'clean' sound I can get listening to Baroqe music.

I know people like to boogie down, but I'm done with all that. I like clean sounds without
someone ELSES personal message and I've never been a fan of vocals but can appreciate
them.

This is what I'm into these days:

You better watch out, that baroque music will make your IQ go up to 500!

It literally feels like my brain is first, going through a drive through, then it's like
all the moving mechanical parts are polished, buffed, and shining and working like
swiss movement clockwork as it was designed to before being programmed by nurture
and synthesized nature. I don't know about iq going up when I listen to it, but it's like
eating a really good meal, and then if I listen to one of my 'favorite songs' of old, it's like
I'm eating a shit sandwich coated with sugar, frosting and sprinkles. It's really weird; I don't
want to 'not like' my old music; chamber music just has this effect. Lately it's been Silence
or Baroque music. Both are good.

I've thought about leaving behind all the music of my past too.

There are a couple bands I'd still enjoy even if I did give the rest up.

Largely, I just feel like I wouldn't miss any of it.

Especially the damn love songs... *gag*
