I'm getting the impression that it's proving really difficult to cart her off to the mental hospital because she's not some kinda hardcore imminent threat.
Her family lives across the country... maybe they just haven't gotten there yet. Once they ARE there, it's hard to say whether they'll have any luck getting her admitted. It's apparently really hard to do.
And I'd imagine it'd be hard for her family to deal with her as well. Seeing them might snap her out of it though. Who knows. I can't believe she's just back to doing this again today.

Random strangers are taking advantage of Gabbie's psychotic episode by searching up her address and showing up to try and party at her house.
Left to her own devices (quite literally), Gabbie may have eventually come out of this okay, but with this added element of psycho strangers showing up at her house, I don't know.
I really don't think the guy who was there is actually someone she knows.
It's possible he's friends with the other woman who showed up.
