What I hate about AI:

1. Chatbots.

2. People using AI to do research FOR THEM instead of doing it THEMSELVES and making sure the info they're getting is unbiased and diverse.

There are some great uses for AI.

But they have FUCKING NOTHING to do with CHATBOTS and being a replacement fucking BRAIN for humans.

AI is good for pouring through data that would take a human too long, like an emergency situation such as search and rescue. If a helicopter is flying over a wide area in a search, it'd be good to have AI analyzing the scene and looking for anything that a human eye might miss.

That's just one example, there are MANY similar uses that would actually SERVE humanity for the BETTER.

There are uses for AI...

But humanity WILL NOT use it properly, they will allow it to replace their THINKING ABILITY.

And a lot of people will use it to replace communication with OTHER HUMANS, which is just fucked up and SAD.

This is what I hate the most, because it's THE MOST DANGEROUS.

Using AI to search for anything that you could simply enter into a search engine, look through a ton of articles, and DIG for REAL information BY YOURSELF, using YOUR OWN FUCKING BRAIN...

It's going to kill humanity.

The beauty of searching for information manually is that you can look into sources that mass AI is probably PROGRAMMED AGAINST.

You can follow sparks of inspiration down incredible paths that lead you to information that may even be unrelated to what you were searching for, but it BROADENS your info base, it ENRICHES YOU.

It's not possible to do that with AI. It takes THE SPARK of divinity and destiny and synchronicity OUT OF THE PROCESS.

This is more true than ever because of AI.

You should never knowingly subject yourself to imagery made with AI, especially video imagery.

But do what you want.

Also applies to audio.

It's gonna be hard to avoid... but it's doable and will be important from here on out to curate and create human-only content.

Someday it will be the only material left.

The original human will be invaluable, and so will everything they created.

By that time though, many of the people here now will no longer be here.
