For me, it's moreso about trying to troubleshoot exactly why Billy thinks it's a good idea or particularly healthy or makes him look good to be with her or something.

I've run across a few excerpts from the book over the years, but I don't think the message was to truly treat a man in a bitchy way. The takeaway message as far as I could tell was basically just don't be a doormat, don't be available all the time, don't let him just come in with an offer to go out with like 5 minutes notice, make sure he knows he has to plan in advance with you because you have A LIFE.

That kinda stuff.

I am making a thread devoted only to Roderick, as I've decided that overall I like him better than I like Billy Carson.

He's more enjoyable to listen to, an absolute fucking blast to listen to, actually.

Roderick is very knowledgeable, very entertaining, and very palatable.

I do appreciate Billy Carson very much, but he is battling a few issues that are probably left over from his childhood (aren't we all?) and he showed his ass the other night in a livestream, then privated the livestream later.

In my opinion, in that livestream, Billy didn't even say anything all that wrong.

He just got triggered and heated and essentially said that if you only have a million dollars in your bank account, you're poor.

Again, I don't disagree with Billy and I don't think he's wrong about much...

However, his emotional attachment to some of the things he speaks about does get in the way sometimes.

I enjoy Roderick a lot more and I'll probably want to commentate on some of his videos in the future, so he needed his own dedicated thread because it's not respectful to just keep posting his videos on Billy's thread.

Roderick is a great personality and I think he's going places.
