It's a Swiss chick speaking French over epic Y2K retrowave bubblegum.

I've listened to every song from this "Premiers émois" album and even the ones that suck are great.

French is very sexy, Russian is also excellent... these accents make for excellent retrowave aesthetic pop.

I like music with no lyrics/vocals the most. Foreign language is second best.

The only downside to foreign music is that they could be saying some super fucked up shit and I'd never know.

I think we're safe though, at least for now.

I originally went to Amazon to check out the album but they started playing a bunch of random "related" music instead... it was a bunch of chicks with sexy foreign accents singing in French and other languages over this super epic late '90s/Y2K vibe. But I totally hate Amazon Music and all other platforms like it... I don't do Spotify or any of that other bullshit. Although in this case it was useful for hearing new stuff... but I want total control over the music, I don't like getting hit with random shit.

Some of the songs were really great, but there's no way to find them again cuz it was all random. Lame, IMO. They were giving me random crap and I couldn't select anything specific because I don't pay for their stupid service.

This is the only one I remember from the random songs...

Same sorta vibe, it's upbeat and refreshing.

The only reason I remembered "Vanille" is cuz I always thought it would make a cool name.
