Just... the level of nuance, and how simultaneously scathing and hilarious it is, and on top of that it looks fucking incredible. Hard to believe so much can be conveyed in such a tight little space and still look amazing.

Not a trailer but a superb edit of Andor, focusing on the character Luthen, not 'arguably'— but definitively the most vital character (both in importance and balls) in all of the franchise, because his chess moves from within the Empire are the opening moves of the rebellion. 

If you haven't seen Andor, please note this clip is loaded with spoilers. 

This show is such a staggering achievement in media and art, it renders the rest of Star Wars a paltry mess. 




Genevieve O'Reilly's incredible and elite performance as Senator Mon Mothma is so great I wept. It's an absolute masterclass in restraint. I've gone back and rewatched her scenes multiple times. She should be studied by all actors. Saying "she deserves an Emmy" is a sick joke. She deserves immortality. The video will probably get copyright-struck, but I cobbled together a couple of scenes where Senator Mon Mothma's hand is forced into betrothing her daughter with the son of a wealthy crime lord in exchange for a desperately needed discreet transfer of credits, or else the Empire's auditors will learn that she's been secretly funding Luthen's afore-mentioned chess moves, causing the whole effort to collapse. 



All the women in ANDOR are spectacular.

The show entirely avoids any form of bullshit from the outside world; it is a fully contained work of art that borders on literature.
