I LOVE ALL ANIMALS. THERE WASN'T TIME.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A SHADOW ON THE ROAD OR A STICK OR SOME SHIT AND WHEN I REALIZED IT WAS TOO LATE AND I RAN OVER IT AND I FELT IT AND EVERYTHING AND I'M UPSET OKAY. 

I love reptilian creatures and all the creatures on God's green earth and it's HUMANITY'S FAULT THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO BUILT THE ROADS AND FORCE THESE CREATURES OUT INTO FOREIGN TERRITORY AND PUT THEM IN HARM'S WAY.

I'm mad. Humanity has put all these animals in DANGER and this is BULLSHIT.

I have the blood of one of God's great creatures on my hands.

This is fucking GAY.

The thing about snakes is that their consciousness runs the length of their bodies...

I have never killed a snake before now, but I have seen other people kill them.

There was one in particular who got the head severed, well past where the brain would be... the rest of the body kept moving into specific shapes. It was like it could still see... the area below the severed region would keep moving TOWARD you (even if you moved) in attack mode. With no brain. Explain that one.

They sense with their whole bodies. I don't know how it is when they get run over though. I think there has got to be a percentage of the body that has to be destroyed for the rest of the body to stop reacting.

I hear ya. I've done the same thing, at least I think I did. It was dark so it may not have even been a snake but I thought it was at the time, anyway. What I did was later that night I drove back past where it happened and slowed down right by where I thought I hit it and sprinkled some sage and tobacco out of the window and silently apologized to the spirit of the snake if I did in fact hurt or kill it.
