You know here's the thing...

I love short hair for myself, I think it's great, I'd probably keep it forever. The issue is maintenance.

I can't be bothered to get my hair cut even once a year. It's too often.

Historically, I'll have very long hair. Then one day, I'll go get it cut. I decide I didn't go short enough, then I get it cut shorter and shorter, and this usually takes about 3 trips in total.

Then I get incredibly burnt out and don't get my hair cut for a number of years after that.

It's all I can do to brush my hair every day. I don't mess with hair, don't care about it, don't think about it, don't have time for it.
