Many would personify Gaia as "she" and that is indeed how the term is historically used, however Gaia says no. Gaia is simply Gaia.
Gaia would like to talk about the trees. Gaia says relax, there's nothing bad to say.
Gaia tells me to look at the trees, and shows me a thick group of trees.
Gaia addresses me as "My little tree" and says "Don't you feel it?"
Everything is trees to Gaia.
Gaia says there are many kinds of trees.
I say no shit, Gaia.
Gaia clarifies that there are trees above and below.
I ask why Gaia identifies so much with the trees when there are rocks and water and other features. Gaia says the rocks are there for the trees.
Gaia says there are trees that grow all kinds of things.
Gaia says we are trees.
I ask how that is since we are mobile. Gaia says if we could see the full scope of our bodies, we would see the roots and branches. Gaia says branches grow throughout our lives, and we are interconnected with the others.
I ask Gaia about the water, and Gaia says the water could be channeled in and of itself, but only as a large body. The nature of water makes it hard to channel unless it is broadly identified by a container.
I ask if Gaia sees the water as being separate and Gaia says no of course not, but that the water has feelings that Gaia doesn't communicate. Without the water, Gaia would still have consciousness. The water has collected "for one reason or another" and Gaia only likes the water because of the trees.
Gaia gives me a sense of past hurts regarding the water and says that the water has been responsible for the life and death of many trees, in many ways.
So apparently Gaia has a like/dislike relationship with the water. Gaia doesn't want to talk about the water anymore and says if I want to talk about the water, I should take it up with Luna. She waves me off.
I drop it about the water.
Gaia says the trees are waiting underneath.
