The Whitman's assorted chocolates jumbo sampler is HUGE. I mean MASSIVE.
I saw it in the gas station the other day, I've seen it at various stores...
But the one at the gas station really just led me to question...

The box I saw looked like a perfect square and it had to be like... 24 x 24, honestly that is what I would guess on memory.
Maybe it's the store that's the issue here...
How are you gonna impulse buy a 2ft. box of chocolates at the GAS STATION?? You're not. It's huge. Nobody is gonna actually grab that MASSIVE box and take it up to the counter non-chalantly... people treat you weird enough as it is when you're just buying normal shit.
Kids aren't gonna feel comfortable trying to con their parents into buying them a MASSIVE box of chocolates... like. It's not even worth a try.
The psychological approach with this huge Whitman's box is all askew. They really need to just... either cut the thing in half, or don't attempt it at all. I think a box half that size has a good chance of selling regardless of the store/setting.
