"Blue light from devices may affect melatonin that could increase the risk of early-onset puberty"

The earlier puberty takes place, the closer the species is to dying off...

Quote:The team also found that boys who hit puberty relatively earlier than their peers were at a greater risk of poor health later in life, corresponding to nine months' shorter life for each year earlier started puberty.

And this is only what they're willing to admit.

I read that LEDs emit more blue light, so that would add to the problem… may want to stock up on halogen bulbs while they’re legal

Only blue LEDs emit blue light. The color of the LED is the color of light it emits. It's not just a white light with a colored lens.

Can you guess why red LEDs were invented in the early 60s, with amber and green coming years later, and blue only appearing in the 90s? It has to do with miniaturization.

I used to be a halogen bulb snob and I still do use them in certain applications, but for the most part I've switched over to warm toned LED bulbs. The halogen bulbs are very sensitive to burning out around... me.

I hated those cheap halogen torchiere lamps in the 90s because I was taller than the lamps, and the blinding light coming from the top was too much.

There's a heavy rainstom going on by me and the clouds are a pale grey with pale turquoise.
