somethin to keep an eye on. he did have a lot of very good information about health and nutrition, and caught a ton of flack for a number of articles/vids he published.

That is awesome if so. I would really make the switch to this platform as an alternative to YouTube if that's the case!

The excuse is that “Real.Video” was too generic to defend in court if need be.
Also, it’s the funky domain that is the problem...
Anything but .com is pure shit, sorry. It just doesn’t work out.
Should have started off as a .com... rewriting the plot now is a deathknell.
Not at all surprising that another YT alternative bites the dust...
Under suspicious circumstances IMHO, not that Real.Video wasn’t always slightly suspect.

you know what we really need, as far as protecting free speech and video hosting and internetz? some type of new codec that is vastly more efficient and cuts down filesizes 50-75%. or more. i bet it already exists, but it's classified. that'd take a lot of the burden off of smaller hosts.

Brighteon's video platform is actually great... not wild about the name, I really don't get it. But the actual functionality of the video player, the search, etc. is pretty damn good.
Hopefully he really can keep it online long-term. Hosting it cannot be cheap, that's for damn sure.
