What I sense out of some of these specific ASMR chicks is a total lack of true identity.

They don't care about what they're doing, it means nothing to them, they got lucky in a niche, decided to churn out weird videos to make a (FUCKTON) of ad money (and sponsorships etc.) and there is absolutely nothing more to it than that.

Yeah, the girl in the OP seems to be "doing it right".
I've seen a few of her videos and even sat through most of one
of her Q & A's and she's pretty cool, seems like her heart is in the
right place. An artistic type. From what I can vaguely remember she
wasn't "herd mentality" friendly. Always a good sign!

And I've noticed even with some of the tarot and astrologer ladies
that some of them seem to be more about the "branding" than the
gift. At least they come off that way. Some of them just don't have
that "spark" that I see/sense with the ones I end up subscribing to.

I guess it's just another case of "you can't fake the funk".

And just to clarify: I don't think ASMR requires you to have any special
gifts or anything, aside from a good command of whispering. But I most
certainly believe that it takes a truly gifted person to read tarot or do
astrology work. I don't think a person should even pursue those types
of things unless there's a spiritual calling.

Otherwise, it's just for ad revenue and branding.
