The picture is crystal clear.

Don't nobody need to see nothin' that clearly.

Well of course all these ancient cultures were obsessed with the Milky Way, the damn thing looks crazy.

They lived in a time with ZERO light pollution whatsoever, they could see that shit WELL.

IRL I've only ever seen it in the far north, Atlantic Canada. It looks like a long cloud with a huge concentration of stars.

It's no mystery to me that they were obsessed with it, it's only natural.

With a show like this, I guess it doesn't really matter, but wow.

Gonna start watching S1 E1 now...

This shit is fucking good though.

There need to be more shows like this, of this same quality...

I feel like Gaia's stuff isn't this well done.

And so many of the people they bring on seem like their shit is scripted or they're just totally full of crap in general.

I think it's pretty likely that shows like Ancient Aliens were HEAVILY influenced by the "reality TV boom" back in the early 2000s.

They were trying to catch that same vibe, which is a vibe of fakeness and I always abhorred it.

S1 E2 1:00 Joe Rogan has a brief guest appearance. He looks fucking great.

Well, E2 is about over and I gotta tell you...

I zoned out hard again and all I can say is that if I ever rewatch this show, it'll be like seeing it for the first time.

And it's not like it's bad or something. It's GREAT. I just can't seem to focus on it even though I am heavily interested in the topic.

S1 E3, I gotta hand it to them, I had never even heard of this one before...

Ggantija.

Some of the aerial footage in this show makes you wish so hard that you were right there in the middle of these places.

Being able to visit all these places, man Graham has lived a truly blessed life.

Quote:Misrah Ghar il-Kbir (informally known as Clapham Junction) is a prehistoric site in Siġġiewi, in the south of the Island of Malta, near the Dingli Cliffs. It is best known for its "cart ruts", a complex network of tracks carved in the rock.

They extend right into the water.
