I don't believe that all the self-praises were real. In fact, I think he had almost zero self-confidence but over time he had used to healing his mental wounds by saying such things like I'm the supreme gentleman, I'm awesome, etc. Maybe these glorifications came from his mother who tried to make him feel better about himself.

The problem is that many people think his only problem was just having a GF and sex, but I think these two were just the visible surface of his deeply troubled mind.

Still, I don't know why on earth none of his male classmates or friends didn't help him after his obvious activities on the internet, ie his channel with his own name. If I was his classmate, I wouldn't let him be alone and I would accompany him on his trips to the golf course, etc. Maybe he was right with some of his perspection of his world.

I think that behavior from Elliot is the quintessential definition of "sketched out". I mean he was clearly mentally unhinged... you can't expect his actions and behaviors to seem normal. And if he was acting, he was a terrible actor. If they needed someone who could act, you'd think they'd have chosen better.

I remember now, the photos of "his body" look too short to be even 5'7". 

And in his manifesto, he describes his plot to shoot his head with two guns simultaneously. If he did that as he was planned, it definitely would be resulted in a BIG mess.

Stabbing is about the messiest way to kill. Blood goes EVERYWHERE. The ONLY explanation for the lack of blood found in the apartment is that Elliot drugged his roommates and took them to one specific area of carpet (the 6ft section that was missing) and killed them there. Why kill them with a knife if they're drugged though? Why not just smother with a pillow or something that isn't messy? There is NO way that Elliot started stabbing his roommates randomly in the apartment with them totally alert. There would have been so much struggle, and I think Elliot would have lost in a one on one confrontation with either of those dudes.

Their parents believe they were drugged... that they HAD to be drugged, because there's no other way.

It's almost like Elliot filmed all the videos, but other than that, there's no proof he did ANYTHING else. Seriously.

Another thing that I discovered is that his manifesto ends not as what expected. I mean, it's like it's ending had been written in hurry or by someone else... or suspiciously some parts of it had been censored or deleted as there are 4 blank pages. The beginning of his manifesto is much more structured, literary and artistic.

And his manifesto... talking about remembering his 7th birthday and where they went out to eat. Fucking no one remembers their 7th birthday, and this is coming from somebody who remembers being 2. You just don't remember shit like that, I'm sorry.

His friend had claimed he was looking for girls to come forward and stick with him. So I guess he had never stopped by a girl with his BMW.
In the beginning of his manifesto, he says about his "superior memory", so maybe it was really superior to remember his 7th birthday!
But his detailed manifesto also reminds me of a plot written by a psychologist for making up a fictional character! 

Back when this whole thing first happened in 2014, there was A LOT of speculation in the 'conspiracy theory' circles that it was all staged and Elliot was acting in general. People thought that it was a staged event for the sole purpose of furthering gun control, and this is a valid concern since, in the introduction to the police report, they were ALREADY mentioning gun control and how 'important' it is.


Some even theorized that Elliot was going to receive plastic surgery and relocate to another country after carrying out the mass shooting, and that he is still alive.

There is a motion video halfway through on this vid of the red carpet event wherein you can observe Elliot's body language as well as his father and his (wife, girlfriend?)...

In this video, Elliot stays behind his dad, almost so as to hide himself from view. I assume this what he always did in a public place whenever he felt that attention was on him, thus the reason why no one ever felt comfortable approaching him. In addition, his dad and the woman are completely and wholly ignoring Elliot as he tags behind them like a small child, only, if he were a small child, dad and the woman might turn around every now and then to see if he's still there. Alas, they do not even look at him and appear to be very much into each other, specifically the dad is into the woman and is not thinking about Elliot whatsoever.

Great analysis! Maybe it was because that they knew they were just there because of a friendship with the original director. So they could have been uncomfortable because of this fact...

To me it signifies a family that was disconnected from one another but tried at some level to maintain a facade of 'togetherness' even in their candid personal lives. His dad and the lady actually seem genuine, as much as they could be at least. They could not have been truly connected and understanding of one another, since they failed to notice such a serious problem with Elliot. If being "kind of wealthy" in socialite California isn't enough to encourage your young son to get out and have some fun... what the fuck is? What more can a person really do though?

That photo looks very natural and explains the situation of that family. You can tell his father knew all of his mistakes and big problems with his son's life but he was hoping everything to be good in future, his stepmother looked like she was trying herself to be her best for Elliot despite all the insults from him and Elliot looked like he was hardly trying to forget about the past and pretend that he would like her...

What the fuck... monkey guy was wrong, he didn't upload that vid after he killed the dudes, Elliot says "tomorrow" was the day of Retribution in the video. That's kind of a big fuck up on somebody's part. Did Elliot pre-film the video the day before and then just upload it when he emailed out the manifesto? And if he did upload that video right before he killed those people, why did he say "tomorrow" at all?? That would have made everyone who watched it upon upload think that he was going to do the shit the next day. So WTF?

And I've always wondered why the hell the lighting was so bad in that final video. Like. It's your LAST FUCKING VIDEO and you can't even get remotely normal lighting going on like you had in all the other videos?? That's just lame as shit. I think that's the weirdest part of all of this. Why slack so hard on the final video? And why does it cut off where it does? I never saw the full original video. I assume there HAS to be more to it than that. So WTF?

Me too hate the lighting in the final video. That yellowish tint on his face made him look like Indians! In total contrast to what he had dreamt about, ie being completely white. Maybe he had thought he would look more "supreme" by having sunlight illuminate his face!

That unpredictable end of the video is weird, like the four blank pages at the end of his manifesto. Maybe he himself edited it, as you can't see him placing his phone on the dashboard of his car.

Then where is the blood? Even if Elliot had opened the driver's side door and shot himself through the right temple, blood would have gone all over the door and the seat and the airbag etc., but there IS NO SIGHT OF BLOOD.

Page 8, "Corporal Lupo next heard over the radio a deputy dispatch that the suspect vehicle crashed on the 6500 block of Del Playa and the suspect was in custody." ... In custody? A dead body lying on the ground is "in custody"? Okay.

Page 10, "The driver’s side door of the BMW was open and Deputy Smith could see the suspect sitting in the driver’s seat motionless. Deputy Smith provided cover while others removed the suspect from the vehicle and handcuffed him. He saw there was a handgun in the suspect’s lap that appeared to be a Sig Sauer semi-automatic with the hammer in the cocked position. When the suspect was removed from the vehicle, Deputy Smith could see that he was gravely wounded with what appeared to be a through and through gunshot wound to his head."

Page 12, a witness describes the shooter "tracking" the position of an officer with hand motions: "As the BMW continued westbound on Del Playa, Cappon saw the BMW driver 'track' the deputy’s position as he drove away and continued to fire. Cappon demonstrated this 'tracking movement' by pointing his hand in the direction where he had seen the deputy and then moving in a westbound direction while holding his hand still facing the original location where the deputy had been." Sounds pretty pro to me.

Page 15, "Seven minutes after the first reports of gunshots, the suspect crashed his vehicle and ended his life with a gunshot wound to the head."

So this conflicting report states that he crashed AND THEN shot himself, while the police report states that he shot himself THEN the vehicle crashed.

Mmmhmmm...
