When I was a kid, I used to notice that a lot.

I was raised Southern Baptist and so I saw crosses a lot at church throughout the week.

Interesting.

What the hell, that looks like THEEEE most uncomfortable ride ever, BAHAHAHA.

It's too bad though because bikes with no need for intertubes or any other parts would be a great invention.

Atlantis was made of ice.

They had the technology to freeze the seawater into whatever megastructure they wanted, like an industrial scale 3D-printer.

Interesting.

When you light roman candles to 'celebrate independence day' here's the gruesome
origins of an 'actual' Roman Candle:

Nero punished devoted Christians by coating their strung bodies in pitch, oil, wax and other
flammable materials before lighting their feet and using them as human candles. The 'Roman
Candles' were use to light formal parties with the imperial gardens, whilst lit in such a way to
prolong torture and pain. Elite guest of these private gatherings would seek entertainment from
the suffering, whilst candles also gave a decoration and torchlight which they considered desirable.

We were Southern Baptists in the summer and Pentecostal in the Winter.
I saw through the ruse of magicians and the mesmerized flock as young as 5.

Still didn't stop me going to check out chicks. =P

ROMAN CANDLES.... A dark 'twisted/wick'ed' history.

Well thank God you did, and you became who you are today.

But once you see it, that ability translates over into everything else, and eventually you see everything for what it truly is.

You can't unsee it.

In its own way, it's tragic.

They say ignorance is bliss, and at one time I believed that.

Despite the ruse, and business of religion; I've grown closer to something
I can't describe; a personal built in savior based on knowledge, wisdom, experience.
Of course their stuff is good for some folk, but not for those with open eyes and can
see the wisdom in the mystery stories and decode the complex into the simple.

I don't anthropomorphize 'God.' Attributing human emotion to something capable of creation
is silly and egomaniacal. Nature teaches us, and meditation and observation of nature increases
our knowledge.

Therapy has been great; I've learned of the 'eternal battle' which is merely the 'emotional mind'
verses the 'sapient/wise' mind. Emotions come from the reptilian part of our brain. Very old, very powerful
and very necessary; however, when emotional growth and develop are hindered at an age; sometimes
we use our sapient mind which IS intelligent to sooth our non-intelligent reptilian brain emotions that only
know to seek pleasure and avoid pain. Emotions are necessary and very powerful and much older than
the neocortex which has developed over time.

A well developed and balanced mind will seek a greater
pleasure than the immediate; it sees life in a big picture where sometimes sacrifice of happiness to reach
a goal greater than happiness, of success, and of completion of a dream or a goal. The reptilian part of the
brain is without intelligence and if not 'tamed' will dominate and use the sapient mind to reach it's goals, be it
pleasure through instant gratification through drugs, alcohol, sex, etc and avoid ALL pain at ALL cost, even if
the 'pain' is a necessary tool for self discovery, knowledge, wisdom, and perseverance.

A simple example would be the pain of sore muscles every day, and the avoidance of the pleasure of foods
which taste good, but aren't necessarily good for you. The sapient mind will see a goal, set the mind, and
forego any 'weak' emotional input and over ride that through succession of steps and endure the 'pain' and
continue on.

Animals, the beasts of the field, most only 'survive' and humans, we try to 'live' instead of hand to mouth, day
by day. We plan, we have dreams, we fulfill them with sight that only the human mind is capable of.

Nature is a great to observe, the good, the bad, the weird or ugly.

It takes realization of who you are, why you do the things you do, and if they make you feel more than
fleeting happiness. If you are stuck in the emotional mind's continuous circle of the thinking of a child...
you'll be stuck in a metaphorical candy shop eating candy until you're physically ill. Rewiring bad habits
takes time and effort and sacrifice.

For me, I've given up smoking pot, drinking any alcohol, abstaining from any relationships other than my family
and working on myself. I've really learned a lot going to therapy four hours a week, twice a week with others.

I'm getting off the psychiatric poison as well with a specialist who only deals with this type of issue.
Prescribed benzos are about as evil as pharmaceuticals get in my opinion.

I see great things, and many layers of pain, fear, poor self esteem, with work and knew knowledge of how
the mind works is beautiful. I'm a late bloomer I suppose but thank goodness I'm stubborn. I'm in love with
life and growing and not always in a 'good' mood but I know I have control over that now.

Qigong I see in my future, maybe laying off eating so much meat, and more OLD movies (Carry Grant, Henry Fonda)
and listening to baroque/chamber music.

This is a nice 'chillout' album that's 'somewhat' new someone may enjoy; very ethereal with nice beats.
I have an incredible imagination and very stoked to know I'm going to write some epic books. That's my big
goal and I know I'm capable of it. Fear has stopped me and maybe I just needed to find the right path for
my writing. It's a beautiful thing to have a dream, follow it, and not let anything or anyone take you from it and
ESPECIALLY not let your 'emotional' self defeat your 'sapient' self in the pursuit.
