Okay. Thanks for letting me know you got it. Thanks for the suggestions on the shed. I do have a couple windows on the other side. I will be finishing out the inside and insulating as well.
THIS is what YouTube was created for!

Yeah I was thinking about it...
Like as it pertains to having a window on the bottom end of the structure, and then a window on the opposite end of the other side. So that way it would get light shining into it from most angles.

It's good you set the bar with your second vid and the first one that shows you because it will go well in line with future videos you make. If you stick to making pleasant friendly looking thumbnails like smiling, whenever you make one that deviates from that, it'll be way more impactful and stand out among your videos. I don't agree with these channels that are always changing up the emotional expression on their thumbnails... It seems clickbaity and I automatically distrust them or just don't even watch the video at all. So it's better to keep things steady and consistent and continue to look inviting.

I've heard some YouTubers say that dramatic 'bad news' titles and thumbnails that suggest negativity get way more views...
My philosophy is that you DON'T want those people on your channel... It's not actually a gain to get those kinda negativity obsessed people to click on your videos. Even if it gets more views and therefore more $$$, it is not worth attracting the wrong crowd to your channel. I don't wanna spend a long time on this, but I just want Dan to know that he will get an audience if he keeps making videos (consistency) and sticks with it for 6 months - 1 year, he will get thousands of subs and eventually it will be worth the effort. My thing is like... ESPECIALLY in a homesteading situation where you are out in the middle of some secluded area and (luckily) have an internet connection, what else is there to do besides share your journey?? Or at the very least just record it for YOURSELF. It's 2023, photo albums have been (somewhat) replaced with video logs (even though photos should still be taken/printed) and this is the new way. And I get it if people just wanna be alone in the woods and meditate or something, I'm not saying you HAVE TO record your life (and share it)... I just feel like come on, if you don't record and share your life and your stories, then you're missing a good opportunity. I've said it before, I'll say it again... Every single person should make vids (or write) and share their story, tell about their lives, share their wisdom, etc. There are no exceptions. Everyone should be doing it.

On days when I don't feel like video recording, I audio record. MP3 files are way smaller than video files anyway and it's a good way to save digital storage space. I always think it's better to do video instead and just edit it down to the highlights later, but having audio recording on is better than nothing. That way all you have to do is talk and share your thoughts then they get saved and you didn't have to be on camera if you were having an off day or whatevs. It's called a podcast long story short lmfao.

A lot of people don't like editing, and I get it but... if you just get a pretty standard video editor app on your phone it's not hard. The free editors leave a watermark on your vid, but who cares.

I have audio of myself editing my videos from my road trips... I'd edit of a night from whatever rest area I was parked at. Just hang out in the back and edit vids whilst recording the audio of myself hanging out editing vids. Lol.

This is the new way to live life in this tech era, if you're not doing it you're missing out. And this is basic shit... smartphones with a camera and an editing app. Another smartphone to record audio, or even a standalone audio recording device. It doesn't take many resources and you don't have to get a chip in your brain or sell your soul and get the mark of the beast or something. We've been able to do this stuff pretty efficiently since like ~2017 when decent cheap smartphones with okay cameras/audio started coming out.

Meh, I find most people unworthy of the knowledge that I have.

Oh I definitely don't blame you man, I totally get where you're coming from.
It's just one of those conclusions you come to as you get older.

Literally everyone sucks and there's basically no point.
Sad but true.

I had a feeling that you would relate. MO is so smart :)

I got new tires. The tire shop was really cool. I liked the people there for sure. I'll be going back. I skipped home depot. I had to get home to get some of my actual work done.

There is almost nothing better than the feeling of having a new set of tires... I'ma keep it real.
06-16-2023, 10:02 PM
Yeah...almost nothing. lol. I was amazed at how smooth it feels though.
06-16-2023, 10:03 PM
I know what you were saying MO ;)
06-16-2023, 10:14 PM
