No, not "strict".

I did have hangups related to religion as it pertains to sex though.

And really, I'm glad.

It kept me out of trouble and even though I've outgrown religion, I still appreciate Christianity and certainly do think they've got it mostly right when it comes to fighting against lust and whoredom.

This is how you don't homestead. Eric goes into survival mode for each job/problem he has. Then hires a contractor for 10k to do each basic job. He's going to end up building a full suburban home, at the same price of one in an upscale suburban community. He'll probably be broke by the end of it.
