This is all it really boils down to.

And I've literally never seen similarities between them FWIW...

I mean I might've said I did literally in this very thread at one point...

Banana

(I'm not checking.)

But nah totally never noticed similarities and I'm being 100% serious right now even though it sounds like I'm being super sarcastic.

GHB effects : "GHB has almost an animalistic feeling when it comes to sex. "You just wanna devour the other person," is the way one person described it during one of my research interviews.

So uh, is it possible to be born with an endogenous supply of this stuff?

Asking for a friend... Eek

At about 2:57 he starts waving a cup filled with water around and not a drop comes out.

That's because of his absolute command over the moment.

In regard to the 2:57 water-cup flailing, this is the video in question. And by the way, Mo, thanks for posting this. I can't believe I've never seen it ... AND it's over an hour long? Day = made.

Came out about five years ago as a rental, but it's free on the Bill Hicks youtube channel as of today. It's a biography told from his brother's perspective.

One of the all-time great first-time network appearances. He game out of the gate in a full sprint, like he started 100 feet behind where all the other horses were standing when the gun fired.

Thanks for posting this...

I saw it on my YT feed uploaded today and I was gonna watch it and post it here.

1984, wow.

Bill just seems so timeless and eternal.

This was his very first network TV debut.

0:40 he looks great. He was 22 here, just a youngster.

He was such a gift to the world.

1:09 I think he was so handsome. Just a lovable dude.

I recently heard somebody say (I think it was on an AJ interview or something) that Bill was more of a brilliant sociopolitical commentator than a comedian...

Basically saying that he used the stand-up platform to give his take on society, existence, etc. They weren't saying he wasn't funny, but just that he essentially used comedy as a front.

Definitely! Like hiding a pill in a dog treat so the dog will happily consume and get the medicine.
