Hmmm. The Strummer came out in 1991`, six years after that song was released. Maybe they played those bits on a Casio DG-20 connected to a MIDI tone module then. Just speculating, I have no idea.

I always liked the song (save for a couple different parts), but I probably have a more nostalgic experience with it than a lot of people might.
I just remember driving around Newfoundland listening to it circa 2011... Any music set to that kind of scenery is gonna stick in your mind and be pretty much unforgettable.

Before that time, I'd vaguely heard the song before, but it was only during that timeframe in my life that I had it on a CD where I could actually listen to it.
