The algorithm has turned against them...

8:19 having a job as a "chatter" is a major flash in the pan because they'll be replaced by AI bots any second now.

So the top people on OF are all managed by the same company, and soon that company will be replying to messages with AI bots.

And the people on OF are just... models. That's it. They take pictures, make videos, don't even reply to their own messages, and probably never even use the platform themselves. They probably just send the pics/vids to someone else who uploads them.

Maybe the "dead internet" theory really is true.

How disturbing.

Pretty soon, the models themselves will just be replaced with straight up AI.

It's not like people using OF to watch porno are actually gonna care if it's a real person or not.

This feels like doom.

I just can't articulate the "how" of it...

How it'll go down, step by step. I'm not sure.

But it seems pretty clear that it's killing everything.

And I don't hate AI, I think it's pretty cool in a lot of ways.

I see what is happening here as way more of a fail on humanity's part.

That's what bothers me.

Maybe there really aren't as many people as we've been led to believe.

Like, yeah the population probably really is 8 billion but at the end of the day...

Quote:The estimated number of insects on Earth is ten quintillion, or 10,000,000,000,000,000,000. This staggering number represents a vast majority of the world's animal species, with insects making up approximately 80% of all known animal species.

I think that sums up what I can't seem to put into words.

Despite tech advances and the other stuff that makes our lives easier than it was a hundred years ago...

It seems like we're dying off.

We're certainly very small here on this planet.
Reply
I mean, you wanna talk about outnumbered??

Try ten quintillion on for size.

Humanity is a flash in the pan...

And every other human-like type of animal that has ever existed on this planet was a flash in the pan too.

This is just fucked up, man.

I bet an option will be added to popular online platforms for AI to keep posting for you after you die.

We could all die, and AI will still be talking to itself until the sun takes it out with a huge CME/EMP.

Maybe Elon is right...

Maybe we really will go out with a whimper.

Sigh.

It's going to result in even more isolation for humans than the internet (and devices) ever did in the first place.

Really, the isolation started with television. Hell, it probably started with radio.

So it's been slowly encroaching on us for a long time. Many decades.

This is how humanity ends.

LOL. The only way to tell if you're interacting with a real person over the internet will be to meet irl and show bewbs.

ROFL, right?!?!?!?!?

Have one of these...

It's just fixed in place and scary/powerful enough as it is, I wouldn't risk no AI powered massage machine, at least not at this early stage of the AI game.

There's a new obnoxious thing I'm calling "AI Madness" (like Reefer Madness) where a lot of people (who usually sound dumb as fuck) accuse you of using AI in the comments. A new phenomenon, coming to you wherever comments are posted.
Reply
They're basically just saying "You sound too smart and write too purdy to be human cuz we're dumb and can't spell so you must be using AI."
