I got to thinking about this because I was thinking about how I don't like stuff hanging on the walls. I may be down for a couple of small accent pictures in a room, but that's about it.
Then I got to thinking about bathroom mirrors and how fucking huge they are. THEY'RE SO BIG. They're just huge pieces of fricken glass held on by God knows what. If I had my way? There wouldn't be mirrors hanging around basically anywhere at all.
Then I remembered how when I was traveling through Arkansas, I noticed that the rest areas had fully metal mirrors, like super polished metal that was clear enough and they looked really appealing.
I just don't understand why people think it's a good idea to hang pieces of glass on the walls.
I think that we need to revolutionize mirrors in the home.
They need to be unbreakable (polished metal or acrylic) and I personally believe they need to be MUCH smaller. I think they should also be hidden behind a hinged door with some pretty design on the front.
Basically like a medicine cabinet, only the mirror is on the inside of the cabinet against the wall when you open it, and on the outside front of it can be a pretty image or design, or just plain if people preferred.
I completely agree
Big ass mirrors with gold metallic accents are a product of 80s culture and utter vanity
I believe they are evil soul crushers

I think it's okay to have a full length (unbreakable) mirror hidden somewhere in case you need to look up and down.
Other than that, the small hidden cabinet mirror would be fine. You could even just have a hand mirror.

This is the perfect kind of mirror for the bathroom...

I think it could sit on the counter facing away, or maybe be laid face down while not in use.
The full length mirror could be on the back of the door with a curtain over it or something.
I don't really like hanging anything on walls or doors though, I don't like that kind of stuff.
So maybe a full length mirror just leaning against the wall with a curtain over it, or hidden inside a closet if present.
You don't wanna make it look creepy though, mirrors are already weird enough.
It should have a happy cheery sort of curtain over it, or maybe just something really fancy looking.

I'm against the medicine cabinet idea now... I don't think anything should be hung on the walls. I just don't like it at all.

Walls should be plain... white and bare. Thick super glossy paint that can be wiped down with a damp cloth, no worries.

I don't understand why people paint walls non-white colors. I've seen a few decent non-white walls in my time... but it's rare.

Have you ever seen painted toughened glass? Its like powder coated?
Use it for kitchen splashbacks shower walls it actually has some crazy colors they can paint it.
And once its installed it wont break and is so easy to clean.

I just looked it up, it's pretty cool, I can see it being useful in smaller tile form too.

It's a total conspiracy that mirrors are everywhere.

Well there was this mirroring type one I used to install not an actual mirror like black reflective stuff can't remember what its called.
But with LED's shining off it looked pretty cool and you could see instantly if it needed cleaning.
Everyone wanted it so bad they used to run out. I mean no more scrubbing of tiles just glass cleaner.
Like most showers with white tiles people think they clean them LOL its still got all muck all over it human skin cells soap scum et al.
Its not until you have brown or darker colored tile you see how its not actually clean at all. You have to scrub it more sometimes using sodium hydroxide.
With splashbacks just glass cleaner and its clean.
I once installed these huge painted glass panels on the walls in a brothel LOL all were pink and purple crazy colors.
Obviously they need to keep that weird sex place clean.

Why don't you make a YouTube channel and tell us about all your wild Aussie adventures, Mongo?

What they are putting in modern shower/kitchen cleaner sprays is Formic Acid.
Which simply doesn't work. You would be better off to use hot water and a scrubbing brush.
All because its more environmentally friendly? Hogwash!
It is a by product of certain chemical processes they literally get for free!
That's why they sell it. Sodium hydroxide (Lye) mixed with detergent so you can paint it on and it sticks.
You come back 2 hours later use hot water from the shower its eaten everything organic.
And once mixed with water it becomes nothing.

I had several way back until the googs started hasslin me.
Someone would turn their car radio on at a job site and I would get copyright takedown.
Its not a good platform hasn't been for a long time.
I think ive had 15 accounts since like 2005? Can't even remember. Then the googs took it over and it became futile.
I could do a bitchute but that is full of spam maybe a rumble I dunno don't have time anyway.
Over it.

With the technology nowadays, you could put up cameras and look at yourself on a monitor.

I was thinking about why I don't like mirrors, but I DO like cameras, making videos, etc. I dunno what the difference is, but there definitely is one. I think mirrors are just so unnatural and there's really not much you can do with them.
