Kelli Coffee did something similar recently, making some of her livestreams "Members Only", on YouTube ITSELF. Which is a highly superior method to unlisting because it doesn't matter who has the link or where it's been shared, it won't play unless you're a paying member on her channel.

If Morgan wants to play this bullshit game, she at least needs to do it right.

Do it right or don't do it at all Morgan.

You elevate your embarrassing livestreams to Members Only status, and you make even more money from them. You don't hide them. Ever.

Channel membership keeps them publicly visible so people know they're available from the thumbnail teaser, but also paywalls them.

I just can't believe she did this.

I really don't get why she took yesterday's down... it was just a short update mentioning the new channel and how she was looking at getting a place to live nearby. And defending Johnny from some commenter that called him a narcissist. Probably got in another fight last night. Tonight they can have a bath. lol

It's like she doesn't even know how YouTube works.

She needs to pay somebody to tell her how YouTube works, not to import 500 hours of livestreams that will never get engagement again.

It's basically her bending to Johnny's will (or even just HER assumption of what he wants) and dialing back her YouTube channel into something "acceptable" for their relationship. Massive mistake.

And all because he's bought her stuff over the years...

YouTube is headed toward integration and improvements (which still won't even save it from competitors) in the future. The approach with future YouTube is fewer channels, categorized content, and subs receiving notifications only on the genre of content they want to see from a specific channel.
