I think maybe the key is to eat the big meal like ~6 hrs. before you're gonna go to bed, whenever that is. So maybe not load it in right after you get up, i.e. breakfast... but maybe half way through your day. I think the timing is dependent on doing the bulk of physical activities AFTER you eat in order to maximize digestion. You may be hungry enough for a snack a couple hours before bed but you wouldn't swamp your body with a bunch to digest too close to bedtime.

Do you know it can take up to 30 hours to digest a meal?
Dependent on your metabolism mine is fast.

Seems like the key to being aware of all the dreams I had lastnight was because I woke up several times throughout the process.
If I'd slept like a rock the way I normally do, I doubt I would have remembered any of it.
I wake up in the night with viagra warning lable boners.

Here's one reason I'm suspicious of dreams and think they're actually real places and stuff...
I was dreaming about this almost sorta futuristic workout equipment.
It was in water too. Not totally submerged. I think it could have been used in or out of the water.
So I'm holding onto these round handles on the machine that are made for something else, but I'm trying to use them kind of like a pull up bar.
And I thought to myself "Gosh it'd be nice if these were just a bar instead."
So I look to the front/side of the machine and boom, there's a BAR! But it says "Swing" on it. So I push this button that brings it over to the right and down the middle of the machine.
And JUST as I'm about to use it to start swinging back and forth, my damn alarm goes off, lmao!
What I thought was interesting was it being labeled a "swing"... I wasn't thinking of that word when I was moving around on the circle handles and wishing for a bar.
I was thinking "bar" and that's it. So my dream went the extra mile of calling it a "swing" which just makes me think this shit actually exists out there somewhere.

"If your erection lasts longer than four hours, call a doctor immediately."
Like what even is that? I don't even know where to begin with the Viagra warnings.

MO it means that you've been thinking about exercise and working out a lot probably. But it could be your mind piecing together things to solve some mystery too.

I had a pretty crazy dream last night.
I rolled up into a Walmart parking lot, it was night, I sat in the car in a parking spot.
Then I saw three dudes in white hazmat suits putting on clear gas masks walking towards
the store. At least one of them had a skullet, if not two, maybe they all did, anyway -
I heard one of them say "Please don't drink any beverages in this area please." as he
approached the front doors and they all three went inside. The feeling was ominous.
I had the thought "Get to the back!" then I heard people saying it, as in get to the back of the store -
like around to the back of the building. Everyone started pulling out of their parking spots, including
myself, and making their way to the back - not sure why, maybe we thought we could see what
those dudes were up to?
It was hectic, and rounding the corner of the store - the outside of the building - I found
myself INSIDE the store, trying to find a clear path through the aisles to the back of the store.
THEN, I came to a cafeteria section - I thought "Hey, I'll shortcut thru here." After entering, I smelled
the food and thought I wonder what they have in here, so I sat at a table and tried to think of
what I wanted to eat.
People were seated all around, eating and talking. It was dimly lit. I guess I kinda back-burner'd
the whole potential terrorist event - then an older, plump waitress? came by and asked what I
wanted - I asked what they had and she plopped a lump of runny chicken salad from an ice cream
scoop into a teacup on the table that had milk in it, it splashed and half the chicken salad ran down
the cup's handle.
I thought, hmm - fuck all that. Then the lights flickered and went out. There were still bits of light
all around, I guess from the lights outside? [Coming thru the windows] Then, all the cell phones in the
place lit up - everyone got emergency messages and all eyes were on their phones. Then a message
began playing over one of the phones - kind of like one of those "This is a test of the Emergency
Broadcast System..." but it wasn't a robotic voice, it was a woman's voice. It went something like:
"If you are in an area with an empty room without windows, please proceed to that room
now and secure yourselves inside. Remain there until further notice."
People started freaking out and moving around in panic. I thought "Well fuck, I guess those
motherfuckers from out front were some goddamn terrorist ass bitches."
Then the old bladder woke me up, lol.
I guess moral of this story would be: If you see ANYBODY heading into a store nearby with
any kind of hazmat gear or gas masks - just fuck off as fast as you can. I could've been miles
away. Goddamn cafeteria.

Wow...
That is pretty eerie.
I am gonna remember this.
Thanks for sharing, SEIH.
I have had several dreams where there were important lessons taught...
Even if they seem like hardcore situational or too precise to apply broadly, they're STILL going to come in handy, cuz that's why we had the dream.
We have the dreams so that we can either experience these things in a safe, protected environment (a dreamscape/scenario) or so that we can avoid the lesson in REAL LIFE.
This is why I'm against lucid dreaming...
Explained here:
https://www.sectual.com/thread-1829.html
TL;DR, it's about NOT interfering with your dreams because they're supposed to guide you into a scenario in which you can learn and therefore AVOID issues in real life (where there are consequences).

I've always wondered about lucid dreaming - like why the big deal? I get it, do anything you want
w/o consequences. But even in that type of space - surely there's a catch? I've only ever been
able to have lucid dreams spontaneously and even then they were short and didn't amount to much.
Maybe twice in my whole life? I just thought it was way too much work to put in for the results.
And there could be repercussions, unknown to us until a later date. Same with astral projection.
That just always sounded like a bad idea to me. Like being somewhere you shouldn't be.
I'll check that link out. Thanks!

Absolutely.
And spiritual woo-woo beliefs about the subject aside...
It's always been my gut feeling that lucid dreaming is a bad practice.
If it just randomly happens to you, that's fine...
It was meant to happen.
But if you try to do it on purpose and you start interfering with the natural process of whatever your dreams are trying to teach you (and ultimately save you from)...
You necessitate having those experiences in waking life, real life, where the consequences can be very dire.
