I think we gotta stop eating chicken...

Apparently they grind up the male chicks (and all the other "waste" parts of the chickens after killing them too) and then they ultimately feed this material back to the chickens.

Now, there ARE circumstances in nature under which chickens can be cannibalistic. But it's usually not something that happens when things are going well. So by that measure alone, we can safely assume there's some kind of psychological interaction that happens when these chickens are eating their chicken brethren. It probably signals to their bodies that they're in a stressful situation, thus flooding them with stress hormones that we then consume, IF we're eating chicken.

Which I suggest we don't.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg about WHY we absolutely should stop eating mass farmed chicken.

Second reason is because they really seem to be targeting the chickens with this whole avian flu thing, the whole scare around it has been focused on chickens and they're shooting them up with chicken vaccines, it's just a bad scene in general.

If chickens are from another planet and their chicken overlords return, they WILL kill us all for what we have done to the chickens on this planet.

And it's bad, and it's wrong, and we gotta stop.

We gotta stop eating chicken.

Now, me personally, it's been a hot minute since I even ate chicken.

But it's EVERYWHERE. It'd be so easy to eat some chicken without even realizing it.

We have to get a handle on this, we have to stop the mass abuse and exploitation of chicken.

I'm serious, back when I was vegan, I ate a pepperoni pizza once without even realizing it.

I came up with my "Skyrim" foods list a few days ago.

Bread. Cheddar Cheese. Milk. Chicken Eggs (Hard Boiled). Fresh Water Fish. Raisins. Apples. Potatoes. Carrots. Cabbage.

Onions. Garlic. Mustard. Salt. Black Peppercorns.

Cheddar Cheese is a nutrition dense super food.

I eat a 400g block of New Zealand Cheddar Cheese.

Absolutely, we should NEVER part ways with eggs.

But if using chickens for their eggs was all we did, there wouldn't be a problem.

I wish that was the state of things.

Canada is probably second only to the US in the abuse of chickens.

I dunno, maybe there are other countries complicit in the widespread abuse but...

I think it's all gonna come home to roost for the big two.

I looked up turkey and sadly it seems they're treated pretty much the same way. Maybe it's dinosaur karma.

I asked myself the same question...

What might their dinosaur ancestors have done to bring this all down upon their heads??

But chickenosaurus could have subsisted on a diet of solely puppies and kittens, and I still don't think they'd deserve this kind of treatment.
