My only thought is...
"Why the fuck are you
calling me? Are you insane?"
Seriously.
Do you even know who I am??
CALLING me?
Expecting to SPEAK??
Ahahahaha...
I don't care who the fuck you are...
My momma? Maybe I'll answer. She usually just leaves a message though. My grandma? Okay I'll answer.
But those who know me honey...
THOSE WHO KNOW ME...
They know not to fucking call me.
You got something to say?
Text it bitch.
Email me bitch.
One does not simply TALK on the PHONE... to me.
One does not simply do that.
One does not.

And it's not because I'm some big shit or something...
It's because ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME knows I can't stand talking on the phone.
TALKING is so cumbersome and ridiculous.
I write. I type. It's FAST. It's efficient. It's effective. It's easier to get my point across.
People who know me, KNOW not to tax me like that.
That's why if you're calling me...
I know you have NO fucking idea who you're attempting to talk to.
You either have to learn...
Or you have to fuck off.

I like to talk on the phone, long conversations too, but I dont care for them on a whim, out of the blue
i think it must be the ring tone causing your nervous system to go into panic mode , i mean just look at dogs and cats with sudden noises they fucking hate it too

Man you know that's a really interesting point right there.
That could be a factor in it...
I have a really zen ringtone but like...
No matter what it sounds like, it seems like it's always jarring.
I hate home phones for that reason... they've all got that same super loud ring and it always instills a feeling of dread in me to hear it ring. Seriously. I just never assume it's innocent... like I always think somebody is dead or something.
Oh my... funny.
I also startle VERY easily. But that's another story...

My response to getting startled is usually... pissed off.
Like I'm startled, then I'm immediately pissed.
ESPECIALLY if somebody's scaring me on purpose.
It's a mix of pissed/annoyed. Instant.

Yeah I know what you mean about the phone ring, annoyning, even my best conversation friends make me think twice often
