It's strange how it's so rare and unique to come across ACTUAL TALENT these days...
Decades ago, talent was honestly the norm in music. Even if you don't like The Beatles for example, they were talented... maybe they didn't have the greatest voices, and some of their songs were kinda simple (especially in the early days) but they were good. They really were. Even the most massively popular bands back then were talented. These days? The most massively popular bands and singers are THE LEAST talented. So crazy how it's flipped... absolute opposites.

all of my grand parents and great grand parents played musical instruments well. parents generation nothing they didn't even tell us about the previous generation being so musical i didnt know i might be musical till an adult and just now attempting making shit and my kid just showed me that he learned a piano song in one hour i gave him for music class never played before first day i told him he might have got lucky and found he thing early.

I used to see this chick who worked at McDonalds every now and then... I'd see her when I was randomly driving by the parking lot and shit. She was always outside smoking. It was weird. She was really pretty but looked tormented. I know she had some kind of amazing talent... I always thought it was a shame she had to work for the corporate beast rather than work on herself and presenting whatever gifts she had hidden.
