The big soda manufacturers are starting to horn in on LaCroix's territory. LaCroix needs to start expanding outside the US before they get run out of business.

I was drinking a couple of 12 ounce Cokes a day. Here lately, it's just bottled water with a packet of flavored electrolyte powder.

I think LaCroix's sorta uppity branding will protect them from any competition. They've got something special.

Food Lion's brand of soda water is probably cheaper and just as good though, about to hit up some of that.

Hopefully they still make it, it's been years since I had any.

Kroger brand lemon-lime is good, I can't tell it from LaCroix. The plain lemon one tastes kind of like Pledge smells though. They don't have plain lime, go figure. I wonder what that "natural flavor" is. Actually nah I'm fine not knowing.

Yeah, I think LaCroix's head start in the market built up enough of a following to maintain momentum in the short term. But eventually the "new" wears off of anything, and people will learn a cheaper brand is just as good as a trendy brand. Coke and Pepsi will chip away at the market until there's not enough left to sustain LaCroix. They need to get to expanding globally before the competition gets there first and shuts them out.
