Dolphins will let you ride them more like they pull you along I wouldn't try to get on top of one as when they turn you will be mince meat.
With a whale you must be really fucking careful cos one whack of the tail you are brain dead and it doesn't even mean it.

Yes in a perfect world yes. But its not. Or is it? It doesn't matter.
The fact is I have swam with dolphins, be very careful around them, whales also I have seen them accidentally smash a small boat.
They don't mean to hurt you like a crocodile does, crocs want to hurt you, but you can die just from swimming with dolphins and whales.

Go swim with the dolphins its ok they have places to do it, just don't do it how I did it by myself I almost got my leg eaten by a great white shark.
Go do it with professionals who understand the animals it will be fun I can assure you _/.|.\_
